Market Update

How is the San Francisco Real Estate Market doing?  It is too early to tell what will happen in the next 6 months. However, we are keeping our clients updated weekly on how our team and vendor partners are adapting to the change. We are continuing to streamline the process and our transactions.

Zillow conducted a study on housing during previous pandemics and concluded that while number home sales dropped dramatically during the pandemic, home prices stayed about the same or suffered a slight decrease. In short, previous pandemics have simply put the housing market on pause. Read it here.

The 2008 stock market crash was caused by a collapsing real estate market. Today's crash has no connection to the housing market. Related to the Covid-19 virus, the stock market volatility is similar to the 9/11 crash where fear and anxiety was created amongst the general public. If our current situation is like the markets in the early 2000s versus the markets during the Great Recession, home values should be minimally affected.

We understand it is a significant time and everyone’s situation will be different. Many of our clients are in need of immediate real estate assistance of buying or selling. Here is a look at what top economists predict for the coming months. Read more here.

COVID-19 Sellers

A city mandated “Shelter in Place” has forced us to come up with creative solutions as we face different challenges surrounding COVID-19. As a team, we are well prepared with the latest technology, virtual marketing services and boundless network to assist our clients.

  1. As a top agent team, we have diligently ingrained ourselves into our local market and created close relationships with buyers and other dominate agentsWith our network, we are gathering a pool of active and ready buyers that we can match with homeowners who are needing or considering to sell now. We have a team of professionals and vendor partners who will help your properties get ready for market.  We will streamline the process and you can trust that seasoned agents like us knows how to get things done for our clients.
  2. Top agents understand pre-established property values and will work to sell at top dollar. We are quick to adapt and entrepreneurial by spirit. With buyers relying on the digital world to do their home shopping, we will use these platforms to get your listing in front of the right buyers all over the world. In addition, title companies are offering e-signing, e-closing and mobile notary services.

COVID - 19 Buyers
Coronavirus has pushed mortgage rates to historic lows. If you have been waiting for the “right time” to invest in real estate or purchase your next home, many factors may suggest the time might be now. Read why real estate is a safe haven for investors here.
  • Low Mortgage Rates - Cutting interest rates makes acquiring homes more affordable to a larger number of buyers and investors.

  • Less Competition - The stock market crash will inevitably decrease the amount of qualified buyers in the market. This is a great opportunity for buyers in highly competitive markets like San Francisco. We have preferred lender partners who can assist you with financing options!

  • Good Deals - Sellers may be taking less contingent offers vs price. We present you with opportunities through our network.

  • More Stable Investment vs Financial Market - Real estate is a safe haven for investors during times of global volatility.
