    Zillow 5 Star Review  Mia has helped us buy 2 apartments. She is extremely knowledgable of the market, knows everyone (and every real estate agent in SF seems to know her and has good things to say about her), prompt, and always full of positive energy. We met her at one of her open houses. Even though the apartment was not right for us, Mia’s enthusiasm and sharp business sense made an impression. When we found our first dream home in Russian Hill, we asked Mia to represent us and she did an amazing job negotiating the right price and closing early. She stayed on top of the seller, the bank, the appraiser, etc., etc. We felt totally taken care of. When we needed a big place for WFH and a baby, Mia ran around the Bay Area with us to find the best option. Then she did another amazing job coordinating a smooth closing in the middle of the pandemic. I would totally recommend Mia and work with her again in a heartbeat.

    Zillow 5 Star Review  I cannot recommend Mia Takami highly enough as a realtor. She and her team are absolutely fantastic. She is very knowledgeable about the SF market and is well-connected in the community to other realtors. This gives her an advantage in getting her buyers access to exclusive listings before they even hit MLS! In addition, Mia maintains connections with lenders in multiple banks so she can help get you some competitive lending rates. Mia knows about which banks have done lending before for certain buildings and also if there is pending litigation on any buildings you are interested in. You’ll also get a lot of resources from Mia as your agent, whether you’re a buyer or a seller. She creates quarterly market reports, checklists for buying and selling, and guides on various neighborhoods in SF and what they’re known for. Mia’s process for buyers is very streamlined. As a first time home buyer, I was nervous about the process, but Mia answered all of my questions and made sure to present me as a competitive buyer. She offered to have me interview her first before I decided to work with her, which instilled a lot of confidence. She then asked me what I was looking for and started immediately adding properties of interest to a custom client portal she maintained for me during my search. Next, she put me in touch with some lending agent contacts of hers at various banks so that I could get pre-underwritten quickly. My search lasted for about 2 months and during that time, Mia tirelessly kept recommending properties and her operations team scheduled tours to view the properties I was most interested in. When I was ready to place an offer on a property I toured, Mia helped me get my offer accepted in 2 rounds of negotiation. She and her operations team were with me all the way to close of escrow, answering any questions I had, and keeping my lending institution, title company, and listing agent’s team all up to date. If you want to buy or sell in the SF market, Mia is the first person you should call!
